Studio Kompas
Challenge
The brief
Studio Kompas worked across interior design, graphic design, and brand systems. Their old site separated those into silos and clients couldn't see the through-line.
Approach
How we worked
- 01Reframed the navigation around "by feeling," not "by discipline."
- 02Designed a bold editorial grid that mixed interior shots and brand boards on the same page.
- 03Built a horizontal-scroll case-study format that matches how they present in pitch.
- 04Added a writing surface so the studio could publish thinking pieces between projects.
Solution
What we shipped.
- 01
Cross-discipline grid
The work index is one feed, not three tabs. Filters exist but default off — visitors browse the way the studio thinks.
- 02
Pitch-matching detail
Case studies open in horizontal scroll on desktop, vertical on mobile. The same piece works as a leave-behind file.
- 03
Editorial CMS
Studio writes once a month — short pieces, long pieces, one-image posts. Same template, different shape.
